Photography and design conference PhotoPlus Expo 2004 will be held Oct. 21-23 at Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, and show organizers have announced their keynote speakers and special events.
New media commentator Omar Wasow will kick off the show with an 11:30 am address on Oct. 21, while marketing expert and author Seth Godin and Adweek critic Barbara Lippert will speak on Oct. 22 and 23, respectively, at 11:30 am On Oct. 21, moderator Peter Howe will lead a panel of professional photographers in a discussion of photojournalism as it relates to the cable television and Internet age, and on Oct. 22 street photographer Joel Meyerowitz will cover current advances in inkjet printing and how it fits into his workflow. Howe’s panel and Meyerowitz’s presentation both start at 6:00 PM.
