Newer Technology Inc. and Other World Computing (OWC) have jointly announced the release of the RoadTrip FM Transmitter, which uses the 107.7 FM frequency on a car radio to play music from any iPod or iPod mini, including 1G iPods, as well as many other types of MP3 players. It draws power via the car’s 12-volt cigarette lighter and features a 3.5mm stereo jack. Pricing is US$19.99.
