Mac4Arabs.com is hosting the first
this Thursday in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The event’s organizers hope it will be the start of a yearly trend to expose the Arab world to the Macintosh. Mac4ArabsExpo 2004 occurs at the Olaya Holiday Inn Hotel and includes a variety of lectures and short courses including introductions to Adobe Suite CS Arabic, iLife 04 and “switching” from Windows to Mac OS X, a “mini expo” for Mac products, and a dinner gathering. A flat fee of SR200 (US$53.34) covers all events.
