PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo organizers have announced that Wacom vice-president of marketing Scott Rawlings, Adobe vice-president of marketing Deb Whitman and senior digital imaging evangelist Julieanne Kost and National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) president Scott Kelby will share the stage for the show’s opening keynote address at 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 1. PhotoshopWorld will continue through Sept. 3 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla, with such companies as Apple, Adobe, Wacom, Nikon, Canon, Microsoft and others exhibiting the latest hardware and software for digital imaging professionals during the Tech Expo. On Sept. 2, members of the public can attend the Tech Expo for US$20 at the door or with a free pass they can obtain by registering on the PhotoshopWorld Web site.
Full conference passes for those who aren’t NAPP members are $599, or $149 for students; the former includes a one-year membership in NAPP and a one-year subscription to Photoshop User magazine, while the latter only offers the subscription as a bonus. NAPP members pay $499, and anyone can tack $100 on their registration costs for a Pro Pass, which comes with a canvas NAPP briefcase, a ticket to the Photoshop party, a NAPP badge holder, a Photoshop User baseball cap and a PhotoshopWorld T-shirt.
