On Wednesday, PhotoshopWorld held its Guru Awards, which are handed out at the annual trade show to honor excellence in Photoshop design. Winners received a Guru Award trophy and will see their work showcased in an upcoming issue of Photoshop User magazine. You can view all the winning work on the PhotoshopWorld Web site.
This year’s recipients were: Jack Breit in the Artistic category for “Looking Up,” Todd Adkins in Commercial Art for “Rivet Logo,” Mark Weixler in Photo Retouching for “New Finlandia Vodka Bottle on Blue Ice,” Mark Potter in Photo Montage for “Rick’s Shadow,” Luis Ramirez in Photo Restoration for “Railroad Expansion,” Jennifer Ricker in Web Design for “creativescape.org,” Shelly Franklin in Photoshop User Challenge for “Art of Color Management” and Douglas Small in Photography for “Upside Down Staircase.” In addition, Mark Potter won Best of Show for “Death Do Us Part” and David Cuerdon received the Vincent Versace Award for Photographic Excellence for “Woodland Beauty.”
