Creative Manager Inc. has released an update to its Creative Manager Pro software, which is aimed at ad agencies that need a solution for tracking projects. Version 7.2.5 adds the ability to split a single invoice among multiple clients and features functionality for viewing profitability analyses by different criteria as well as a printable job jacket that displays project status. This is a free update for existing users, and the company expects to release another one around the middle of September.
Creative Manager Pro is a Web-based application that works on both PCs and Macs from any location and over any connection. It helps you manage contacts and leads, chart important statistics, create project schedules and task lists, approve such paperwork as timesheets and budgets, review and approve artwork, balance your books and more. You can try out an online test drive of the software before you spend US$39 per user per month (with a five-user minimum) on the hosted version, which is a subscription-based model with a one-year agreement. If you’re interested in a solution that doesn’t include an accounting function, the company also offers Creative Project Manager, which runs $35 per user under the same terms.
