Trendy Geek modifies Pod Shield for 4G iPods

Trendy Geek announced on Thursday the release of modified versions of its iPod protector, Pod Shield, that were made to fit Apple’s recently released 4G iPods. Like their predecessors, the new Pod Shields are made of a thin, transparent film that clings to the MP3 player with static electricity. The front covers just the iPod’s display while the back protects the entire stainless steel surface, so the controls, inputs and dock connector are still accessible. Pod Shields, which still fit previous iterations of the iPod, sell in packs of three for US$12.99.
