In addition, Collection 1.5 features ScanAnywhere, which allows you to scan an item already in the database and pull up its record without touching the keyboard; support for asset tags to place an items that don’t have barcodes; standards-based XML export capability; the ability to define custom genres for unique media; and support for Global Trade Identification Numbers when identifying items. This is a free upgrade for those who already own the software, which comes with Intelli Innovations’ IntelliScanner Collector, Cordless Collector with Bluetooth, IntelliScanner 3200i, IntelliScanner Pro and IntelliScanner Scanabout 800 models.
