MacEase on Tuesday announced the release of MacMagic, a print utility for Mac OS X that was known in a previous incarnation as WebPrint Plus. It’s a utility intended to help users select, save and print material from Web browsers without wasting partially printed or blank pages or outputting particularly ink-heavy ads. You can also select and extract content from PDF files, select and print content from other applications even if items are noncontiguous, print from the Clipboard, generate subreports from any database and more. MacMagic requires Mac OS X v10.2 or later; it costs US$49.95, and a demo version is available for download.
