Olympus on Thursday rolled out the D-535 Zoom Digital Camera, a new 3.2-megapixel point and shoot model that features a “one touch” design the company claims is easier to use for entry-level users: It sports separate buttons for shooting, playing back and erasing digital images. The camera also features a 1.5-inch LCD display, 3x optical zoom lens, the ability to record QuickTime movies, and six preset still image shooting modes. The D-535 Zoom has 12MB of on-board internal memory and stores additional images on xD-Picture Cards. The camera is PictBridge-compatible, to output directly to supported printers, and features a USB interface to connect to Macs or PCs. It measures 3.4 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches and weighs 4.9 ounces. Available this October, the D-535 Zoom will cost US$149.99.
