Snowboard and outdoor-clothing manufacturer, Burton Snowboards — the company that once brought iPod enthusiasts the Burton Amp Jacket — is offering yet another cool accessory for those who like to listen to music while careening down a mountainside — the Headphone Beanie. The $40 cap comes in three colors (Kelp, True Black, and Stealth Gray) and includes built-in wired headphones that sit inside velcro pockets sown into the cap. A fleece material sits between the headphones and ears to ensure a comfortable (and warm) fit.
Extending from the beanie is an audio cable that you plug into your portable music player. This cable includes a volume control, making it convenient to adjust the beanie’s volume to drown out screams of exhilaration.
