Face it, despite the drain on its battery, at one time or another nearly every iPod owner has used their music player’s blacklight as a flashlight. Thanks to Griffin Technology, those days are nearly over.
Griffin has just announced the $20
Griffin iBeam, a pair of devices that plug into a dock-connector iPod’s headphone and remote ports that provide either a flashlight or class IIIA laser pointer. Both units come with snap-on protective caps that can be attached to a keychain.
The iBeam is slated for release in October.
