Munich, Germany-based Boinx Software has announced the release of FotoMagico 1.0, a slideshow utility designed especially for live presentations. The software utilizes OpenGL and Mac OS X applications to produce high-quality slideshows complete with pan and zoom effects, transitions and audio that can be synchronized using a feature called Audio Markers. Users can pause slideshows while they’re running, turn down volume and more. Slideshows can be exported to QuickTime movies, burnt to DVD using Roxio’s Toast or Apple’s iDVD software. FotoMagico costs US$79, and a demo version can be requested. System requirements call for a G4/800MHz or faster, Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
