Gulf Coast-area developers interested in learning how to utilize Mac OS X’s Cocoa programming environment may be interested in upcoming Cocoa programming Workshop put on by MacDev.ca’s Eric Tremblay and Stellar Technologies. “Introduction to Mac OS X Programming: Cocoa Workshop” is scheduled to take place on October 23rd and 24th at Tulane University in Biloxi, Miss.
The weekend course, spread over 14 hours, is a hands-on workshop that will provide attendees with familiarity with Xcode, and provide essential information on designing and implementing graphical applications using Cocoa. Tremblay will show students how to manipulate user interface controls and their properties and offer an introduction to object-oriented programming. Space is limited; the workshop costs US$365.
