Sonnet Technologies noted on Monday that its Piccolo line of USB flash drives now features USB 2.0 connectivity and lower prices. They offer read and write speeds up to 17MB and 14MB per second, respectively, and require Mac OS X v10.2.7. The 256MB model, which was US$99.95, is now $49.95, while the 512MB version used to be $179.95 and now sells for $99.95.
