Rogue Amoeba announced on Tuesday the release of Audio Hijack Pro 2.1, an update to the company’s software for recording and enhancing any audio on your Mac. This upgrade, which is free for registered owners of version 2.0, adds a Channel Tweaker plug-in, variables in recording ID3 tags, sample rate settings for AIFF recordings, a new output device selector for audio device sources and more, including over 20 bug fixes.
Registered owners of Audio Hijack pro 1.x can upgrade to the new edition for US$10 while the full version is $32. A demo that inserts static after 10 minutes of recording is available. Mac OS X v10.2.7 is required.
