If you missed Tuesday’s televised debate between American Vice President Dick Cheney and his Democratic Party challenger John Edwards and you’d like to listen to it, you can download it for free from Apple’s U.S. iTunes Music Store as long as you have a valid account. Moderated by PBS’s Gwen Ifill, the often contentious debate took place Tuesday evening at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As with last week’s recording of President George W. Bush and Democratic party challenger John Kerry, this recording was created by Audible.com in conjunction with political cable news channel C-SPAN. It’s the latest in a series of Audible.com and C-SPAN collaborations to cover this year’s presidential race; the companies have previously brought forth speech coverage of the Democratic National Convention and Republican National Convention. Audible.com also makes the debate recordings available for free through its own service.
