IDG World Expo on Tuesday announced that its upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco 2005 show will feature the return of the MacIT Conference. This conference track offers in-depth public training on Apple’s forthcoming “Tiger” operating system and its implications for Information Technology (IT) professionals.
Genentech senior systems specialist Mark Jeffries will kick off the MacIT conference sessions with a presentation called “Mac OS X in the Enterprise — A Report Card.” Five IT-related tracks are featured in this year’s conference including Servers and Services, Client Issues, Interoperability, Network Management, and Introductory Material.
Other featured IT sessions include Tiger Server In-Depth, presented by Eric Zelenka of Apple; Directory Services on OS X and Understanding Apple’s Open Directory Architecture, presented by industry consultant Michael Bartosh; Putting Voice on your Macintosh Network, presented by Michael Bayer of Computer Telephony Solutions and many others.
