Jenktintown, Penn.-based Managing Editor Inc. In addition, both applications now feature a new File Map dialog box that centralizes the controls for importing, exporting and updating items; a redefinition of characteristics as behaviors, which makes it easier to define or change classified ad flows; and Make Action, a CLS-only function that enables users to store actions in a central location and include them in the Actions palette to automate classified ad page building.
CLS is the more complex of the two systems, allowing users to automate page building and add on modules when they need reach more complex needs , whereas ClassForce is a “point-and-shoot” tool that requires more manual interaction. Upgrades to both are free for customers with Premium Site Support; all others, including new customers, should contact MEI for pricing. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 and a G4 processor.
