Metafy LLC on Monday announced Stickler!, a new scrolling headline ticker for Weblogs, news sites and other Web sites that feature RSS or Atom-based newsfeeds. It’s skinnable, which means users can customize its user interface. Users can drag and drop URLs, links or XML/RSS badges from their Web browser onto Stickler to subscribe to the feed, and it then begins scrolling headlines. What’s more, Stickler works with Metafy’s Anthracite software, described as a “Visual Web Mining Toolkit” which lets users create customized business news and information feeds. Stickler costs US$10, requires Mac OS X, and has available a 7-day free trial download version.
