BF1942 Secret Weapons ship date slips a week

Last Wednesday MacCentral reported that Aspyr would on Monday begin shipping Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of World War II, an expansion pack for the previously released World War II-era first person shooter. Aspyr Media on Monday announced that the game will ship on October 25, 2004 instead, one week later than its previously announced date. MacCentral has confirmed that the one-week ship date slip was caused by an unanticipated production delay at the manufacturing facility Aspyr Media uses to make and package its games.
