Targus Inc. on Monday introduced the Notebook ChillHub, a cooling pad for your iBook or PowerBook that features a pair of fans as well as a four-port USB 2.0 hub with over-current protection, which shuts down a port if a connected peripheral requires more power than the hub can supply. The ChillHub measures 11.75 inches across and 9 inches deep and comes with an AC adapter that powers its two cooling fans and the USB 2.0 hub. You can also power the ChillHub with your computer, thanks to the included upstream cable, and leave the AC adapter behind when traveling. Pricing is US$49.99.
