Kensington Technology introduced on Tuesday its latest iPod accessory, an all-in-one FM transmitter and charger that plugs into your car’s cigarette lighter and powers your iPod while playing music over an FM frequency. Designed by Arielle Inc., the product contains the company’s patented wireless audio technology, which enables up to 50db stereo separation and enhanced treble and bass. The Kensington FM Transmitter/Auto Charger also features LED charging indicators and a safety fuse that protects against power spikes.
Kensington noted that the product is the first in a series of new iPod accessories that will be coming from the company. This one is compatible with iPods with dock connectors and iPod mini. Pricing is US$59.99.
