Now for the vote that really matters…
Every year, Macworld hands out our Editors’ Choice Awards to the Mac products released in the past 12 months that we consider the best, the most innovative, or simply the coolest. And this year for the 20th edition of the Eddy Awards, we decided to let our readers in on the fun.
A few weeks ago, we gave you the chance to tell us which hardware and software products you thought were the most significant—or simply the best—to come out in 2004. As one might expect from readers who know their stuff, you gave us a tremendous list of products, which we pared down to a list of the top nominees. Now it’s time to vote.
You can vote right here (courtesy Rob Griffiths’ Mac OS X Hints Web site). We’ll be accepting votes through Friday, October 29. (We’re also collecting votes from people who have previously registered for our Macworld Reader Panel.) After that, we’ll tally the results and hand out our first-ever Readers’ Choice awards. ( Edited : Or at least, the first we’ve handed out in many years. And certainly the first we’ve ever done exclusively online.)
The only rules: One vote per category, one vote per customer. Look for the final results—along with the rest of our Editors’ Choice winners—in our February issue. No recounts, court challenges, or rioting, please.
