edGenuiti Worldwide, which provides customer relationship management (CRM) services to universities and colleges for enrollment tracking, has announced that its CRM For Higher Education now runs on Mac OS X Server. The company currently uses Xserve G5 clusters and Xserve RAID setups in its data center to provide student enrollment management to more than 500 colleges and universities around the world. Clients use any conventional browser to access and manage data.
The company’s higher education solution features flexible search criteria to pull up student records, integrated telephony and global voice over IP telephone service, integrated faxing capability, modeling and research and analysis functions, previews from the user’s point-of-viewed, built-in e-mail filters and more. Genuiti also noted that future enterprise-based software releases will run on Mac OS X as well.
