Threat Preclusion Firewall pre-empts spam attacks

Secluda Technologies Inc. has released Threat Preclusion Firewall, a Mac OS X Server application that works with existing content filters, blocking spam and other unwanted e-mail before it reaches the mail server. It integrates with other blocking technologies and is capable of stopping hacker probes of e-mail servers, creating real-time problem and error alerts, stopping directory spam attacks and more. Pricing is US$995 per server with multiple server discounts; a 30-day trial is available. Secluda does not note the minimum version of Mac OS X Server required on its Web site.
