Developer Circular Logic on Wednesday announced the release of its InTime Tempo Tracking System for Mac OS X. Previously available only for Windows, InTime has been used to synchronize software sequencers and effects to live musicians as well as improve the accuracy of their notation software. The application follows tempo changes in real-time and can slave other software or external MIDI devices to a musician’s playing. Customization options include a tempo limiter, which sets minimum and maximum tempos, and tempo tracking controls for personalizing musicians’ style. InTime is US$159, with a 30-day demo available from the Circular Logic Web site. Mac OS X v10.2 and a G3 processor are required.
