Aspyr Media Inc. announced Thursday that the Macintosh and PC conversions of
MTX: Mototrax has gone gold master. MTX: Mototrax is a fast-paced offroad motorbike racing and freestyle stunt game. Aspyr expects to ship the game on Wednesday, Nov. 10th and anticipates getting it on store shelves nationwide by the 15th.
MTX: Mototrax appeared for video game consoles this past March, published by Activision Inc. Aspyr licensed Mac and PC publishing rights and is releasing the game simultaneously for both platforms. Developed by Left Field Productions, MTX: Mototrax puts you behind the handlebars of of real-life dirtbikes made by Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki as you take to motocross and supercross tracks, freestyle challenges and off-road courses, testing your skills and trying to win endorsement contracts from sponsors and cash in contests. MTX: Mototrax features single-player action, a built-in course editor and online gaming for up to eight players. It also sports a soundtrack with music from bands like Slipknot, Dope and Pennywise.
Mac system requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later, G4/1GHz or faster, 256MB RAM (512MB recommended), 1.4GB hard disk space, ATI Radeon 7500 or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better 3D graphics with at least 32MB VRAM and 8x CD-ROM. It’s been rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
