Chronos LC on Thursday released StickyBrain 3, the latest major release of its Mac OS X note manager. The software features a new interface modeled after the Mail application included with Mac OS X; can sync data with the iPod and break long notes into multiple parts; sports Safari-styled tabbed notes; adds a FlashNote menu bar tool to search notes from any application; has much faster searching; offers a “Web page grabber” that retrieves entire Web pages with text, graphics and links; links notes to other notes and contacts in Address Book, and much more. Chronos also notes that StickyBrain 3 has been rewritten using Apple’s Cocoa application development environment.
Chronos LC makes StickyBrain 3 available as a 30-day trial version available for download from its Web site. The software costs US$39.99 and is upgradable from previous versions for $25. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 and 60MB of hard disk space.
