has introduced the USBCard Pro, a flash storage drive that fits into the credit card compartment of a wallet. The device is waterproof down to 20 meters and encased in a scratchproof magnesium housing. It’s available in capacities ranging from 256MB to 1GB, and averages data transfer rates of 15MB/s reading and 11MB/s writing. It’s compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.1 or higher, and works with Linux and Windows platforms as well. The company’s Web site had not been updated as MacCentral posted this article, but it noted in a press release that pricing on the USBCard Pro starts at US$149.99 for the 256MB version.
