Apple subsidiary FileMaker Inc. on Monday shipped FileMaker Donations 2.0, an updated version of their database tool to help charitable organizations and other non-profits manage and track donation efforts, fundraising campaigns and donor outreach programs. Designed to take advantage of FileMaker Pro 7, FileMaker Donations 2.0 is a complete re-design with new features including built-in security, more customizable reporting capabilities, quick view of outstanding actions on the home page, improved data import from Outlook and Address Book; multi-window environment; improved batch mail support for donation acknowledgements and more.
FileMaker Donations costs US$129 and requires FileMaker Pro 7v3 to run. If you don’t already have it, you can buy both combined for $363. Upgrading from FileMaker Donations 1.0 is free, and upgrading from an older version of FileMaker Pro costs $213.
