AppleScript Studio developer Zach Weigand on Friday updated InFold, an application that displays information about your current Folding@home unit, to version 1.2. The new version of InFold adds compatibility with “No Deadline” units, an option that was added to the newest Folding@Home that allowed you download units that don’t have due dates. Weigand also added a preference in the application to allows the user to choose the folder to monitor instead of just looking in the default location. The idle client time has also been changed from 12 to 24 hours. There are two versions of InFold available from the Web site: InFold (for single processor machines), and InFold DP (for dual processor machines).
Folding@Home is a distributed computing project which studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases.
