Hotwork Ltd. has released The Analogue Ripper 2.0, the latest version of the developer’s software for transferring audio to your Mac from cassettes, vinyl records, eight-track and reel-to-reel tapes, VHS cassettes and other analog sources. The upgraded edition can interface with iTunes and use any of its encoders, removes the 2GB file size limit, features the ability to schedule recordings, corrects for speed shifts in the source audio and more. Pricing is US$24.95 until Dec. 1, at which time it will become $29.95. Upgrade pricing and system requirements are not available on the Hotwork Web site.
