Apple on Tuesday released Bluetooth Module Firmware Update 1.2. The company indicated that this firmware update improves the update installation process itself, and also enhances performance and reliability when working with Apple’s Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.
This update is intended for D-Link USB Adapters (revision B2 or later) and Apple internal Bluetooth modules on PowerBooks and Power Macs. Apple does not support this update with any other Bluetooth modules. Apple also notes that the updater will render D-Link USB to Bluetooth adapters incompatible with non-Mac systems, so proceed with caution. This download is also available through the Software Update system preferences pane.
