Avid Technology Inc. subsidiary M-Audio has introduced its new Keystation 88es, an 88-key MIDI controller designed for computer users looking for a full-range keyboard. It features a built-in USB MIDI interface compatible with Macs and PCS and also sports a separate MIDI Out jack to connect to other MIDI hardware. The keyboard features pitch and bend modulation wheels, assignable volume slider, function buttons, assignable up and down buttons, and sustain and expression pedal inputs. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1.5 or higher. The Keystation 88es costs US$299.95.
