Pandromeda Inc. on Monday introduced MojoWorld Focus, a new tool that lets digital camera users take their 2D images and manipulate them in a 3D environment. The developer describes the interface as using “dollhouse-like metaphors,” as users set up their own scene, populate it with subjects, add stage lights then generate a new image. Features include trimming tools, the “PlanetWizard 3” automatic scene creator tool, 3D plants, models and other library objects, weather, lens flares and other post effects, and downloadable online content. Pandromeda sells a downloadable version of MojoWorld Focus online for US$49, and plans to ship a physical product by Dec. 13. MojoWorld Focus costs US$49. System requirements call for Mac OS 9 or X, G4 or faster, 32MB OpenGL-compatible graphics card, 256MB RAM, 350MB hard disk space.
