Creative Manager Inc. on Tuesday released
Creative Manager Pro 7.4, an upgrade to its project management groupware aimed at creative and design agencies. The new version adds an Excel Financial Interface that eliminates the need to export or import financial information, instead enabling the creation of spreadsheets inside the software. In addition, the new Client Profit & Loss feature allows project managers to see financial breakdowns on a per-client basis. This update also adds the ability to schedule projects from an end date and offers support for the security upgrades Apple added to Safari 1.2.4 and iCal 1.5.4.
Creative Manager Pro is a Web-based application that works on both PCs and Macs from any location and over any connection. It helps you manage contacts and leads, chart important statistics, create project schedules and task lists, approve such paperwork as timesheets and budgets, review and approve artwork, balance your books and more. You can try out an online test drive of the software before you spend US$39 per user per month (with a five-user minimum) on the hosted version, which is a subscription-based model with a one-year agreement.
