Yeah, I’m talkin’ to you. You want a piece of this? Huh? Do you? What, you’re afraid to submit a playlist and earn the chance to win a music player of your choice (and yeah, we’re talking iPod if you want one) and a mess of free music?
It couldn’t be simpler. Just point your browser at http://playlistmag.com/forums/ubbthreads/contest.php, fill in the form with at least five songs that rock your world, give it a snappy title and a short description and bang on the Submit Your Playlist button. Your playlist will be posted in our PlaylistMag.com Challenge Forum for others to enjoy (or revile, depending on their and your musical taste). Here’s the fine print:
On or about January 18, 2005, ten (10) finalists will be selected under the supervision of Sponsor from all eligible entries received. Five (5) finalists will be chosen by the community as most popular threads and five (5) more finalists will be chosen by the Sponsor judges. Popularity is determined by the community activity surrounding the submitted entry via forum postings. In the case of a popularity tie, the Sponsor will select the finalist. From the list of ten (10) finalists, one grand prize, one first place and one second place winner will be selected by the general PlaylistMag.com audience. The grand prize winner will receive one (1) US$1000 Gift Certificate for a music store from the list below and one (1) MP3 player of their choice from the players listed below. The first place winner will receive one (1) US$500 Gift Certificate for a music store from the list below and one (1) MP3 player from the list below. The second place winner will receive one (1) US$250 Gift Certificate for a music store from the list below.Music Store Choices:

The winners will be provided with a Gift Certificate redemption code that they will need when redeeming their Gift Certificate at the music store of their choice per the attached list. Redemption of the Gift Certificate is subject to the selected music store’s Terms and Conditions. The music player will be sent via Federal Express ground. Any additional expenses incurred in connection with prize will be the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Sponsor’s decisions are final in all matters regarding this drawing. No negotiations will be entered into. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail on or about February 15, 2005.
