Simpl Acoustics has introduced its first product, the Simpl A1 Headphone Amplifier for iPod, which the company expects to have in stores by Friday. The Simpl A1 snaps to the back of the MP3 player and enables iPod owners to use high-end headphones by providing the necessary power. It includes a Lithium Ion battery that recharges through a USB port and offers 16 hours of use. Stereo mini-to-mini and USB A/Mini-B cables are also provided. Pricing is US$149.99
