Austin, Texas-based Aspyr Media Inc. on Monday announced that it is shipping the Macintosh conversion of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. CSI left Aspyr a bit later than the company originally indicated; the company expects the game to be on store shelves by December 10, 2004, though they originally stated it would ship on November 29th.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation puts you in the midst of the primetime television drama action as you have to help the CSI team, including Grisson, Catherine and others, to solve five murders, collecting evidence, examining it, and putting the pieces of the puzzles together to apprehend the killers. You have forensic equipment like fingerprint dusters, UV lights, casting kits and other tools at your disposal to get to the bottom of the crimes.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation requires Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later, G3/500MHz or faster, 256MB RAM, 2.3GB free hard disk space, ATI Radeon 7500 or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better 3D graphics with at least 32MB VRAM and an 8x CD-ROM. The game is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB, and costs US$30.
