Outspring on Tuesday shipped QuickMail Server 3.5.1, an upgrade to its all-in-one POP e-mail solution that features the server-side spam filter Spamcaster as well as configurable DNSBL, a built-in database repair tool, support for AppleScript, a new e-mail database structure and more. Upgrades to QuickMail Office, which bundles the server and client applications together, are US$350 for ten users and a 90-day trial subscription to the Spamcaster service — additional users are $30 each and a one-year subscription to Spamcaster is $325. You can also purchase the client, which requires Mac OS X v10.x, 32MB RAM and 40MB free hard drive space, separately. QuickMail Server requires Mac OS X v10.x, 48MB RAM and 10MB hard drive space.
