Ambrosia Software Inc. on Monday released
WireTap Pro, a utility that records any audio on your Mac, whether it’s generated by an application or from an external source connected to the computer. You can configure the software to save recordings in MP3, AAC QuickTime or AIFF file formats or save them directly to iTunes, to your iPod or to an iTunes-compatible MP3 player. WireTap Pro also integrates with iCal so that you can schedule recording sessions, which can be saved in a “packaged sessions” format that allows you to send them to anyone who has WireTap Pro. Pricing is US$19 and Mac OS X v10.2 is required.
