French software developer Realviz on Wednesday announced the release of Stitcher Express 1.0, a new software application developed from Realviz’s own Stitcher line, that lets photographers “stitch” together panoramic photos that can be viewed alone or with QuickTime, allowing the creation of 360 x 180 degree “spheres.”
Features of Stitcher Express include automatic light equalization, the ability to remove objects moving between shots like pedestrians and cars, automatic panorama alignment, choice of format, trimming to optimum size, “Best Rendering” output, export to Adobe Photoshop and export to QuickTime VR.
Available for Mac and Windows in English and French, Realviz Stitcher Express 1.0 costs US$119 (€99). System requirements call for a G3/300MHz or faster with 256MB RAM, Mac OS X v10.2 or later, 1024 x 768 resolution and 50MB hard disk space.
