All attendees of next week’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, Calif. are invited to the 2nd Annual Party for the People, an event coordinated by Mac author Deb Shadovitz. The party is expected to draw numerous Mac luminaries who will mingle with and entertain guests as they enjoy appetizers and a cash bar. A trivia contest will give folks an opportunity to win some prizes.
The 2nd Annual Party for the People happens on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 8PM at the Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel, located at 55 Cyril Magnin Street. Guests of honor include Shelly Brisbin, legal expert Randy Singer, iPod expert Scott Knaster, MacFixit and Macworld’s Dan Frakes, Daniel M. East of MacDesign, font expert Benjamin Levisay, Jeff Carlson of TidBits and MacCentral and Macworld’s resident game expert Peter Cohen. Also planned are the musical stylings of Playlistmag.com’s Chris Breen, Macworld Expo conference session coordinator Paul Kent and The Mac Observer’s Dave Hamilton. Andy Ihnatko will sing, former MacUser writer Elisa Welch will play, and Macworld Expo workshop host Jeannie Novak will too.
