Circus Ponies Software on Tuesday announced NoteBook 2.0, an upgrade to its outlining and organizing software that includes more than 150 new features and enhancements. The application now integrates directly with Apple’s Address Book, iChat, Mail, iCal, iTunes and Safari software, in addition to the ability to download outlines directly to an iPod. NoteBook 2.0 also features a redesigned toolbar, extended voice annotation and clipping services, a new point-and-click linking system, added HTML export options and more.
Circus Ponies expects to ship NoteBook 2.0 in March for US$49.95, with all NoteBook 1.2 users receiving the upgrade for free. Three-user packs will be available for $99.95, along with a 30-day trial version. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2, a G3 or better processor and 256MB RAM.
