Open Door Networks on Monday announced the release of Envision 1.1 and special pricing during Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco. Envision, which pulls images off the Web and turns them into screensavers, slideshows and other presentations, now features the ability to display them in full-screen size, a search function, a montage mode that turns images into overlapping windows and more slideshow options. In addition, Envision 1.1 supports “Envision Everywhere,” which saves images to your Pictures folder so that you can export them to an iPod photo, a digital picture frame or other multimedia device.
This is a free upgrade for registered users. Through Jan. 31, full Envision licenses are US$39; after that date, they will be $49. 30-day demo copies and discounts for volume purchases are also available. Mac OS X v10.2.8 is required, although v10.3.3 is recommended, as is at least 2GB of free hard drive space for storing images.
