SoundPix Inc. has introduced SoundPix Plus Mac, a US$39.95 utility which lets users add audio directly to a JPEG-encoded image file. Users view and listen to the SoundPix-enabled file using a free plug-in.
In addition to embedding audio in the JPEG file, SoundPix Plus Mac can also add audio effects and compression, to help reduce file size, and also offers captioning that supports hyperlinking. If you need to do some last-minute edits, SoundPix Plus Mac can modify images with rotating, crop and resizing capabilities as well. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 or higher.
