Steve Jobs delivered some big news in small packages during his Tuesday morning keynote at Macworld Expo. Small package number one: a flash-based iPod the size of a pack of gum that starts at less than $100. Small package number two: the Mac mini, a 1.25GHz or 1.4GHz G4-powered monitor-less desktop priced at $499 and $599, respectively. But that wasn’t the only news coming out of the keynote—there’s also an update to the iLife suite, new details about OS X Tiger, and a new suite of applications called iWork. And if that’s not enough, Apple also has big plans for high-definition video in 2005. Peter Cohen has all the details in his live keynote coverage.
