Freeverse has released the Toysight Gold Expansion Pack, three new games for use with ToySight, which was developed by Strange Flavour and published last year. You play the 12 games in ToySight with an iSight or other FireWire-based camera, flapping your arms, swiping at objects on the screen and performing other movements to succeed. This expansion pack, however, adds the option to play the games with a mouse and keyboard, in case you’re not in a position to get up and move around.
ToySight Gold features FlySight, an eight-player fighter game that links players via Rendezvous. You can also play it solo. In Mars Lander, you fly a craft between Martian bases, performing rescues and other missions. If you’re in the mood for something simple, AirHeads challenges you to do nothing more than inflate your opponent’s head and pop it before he does the same to you.
Pricing is US$9.95; the full version of ToySight is required. A demo of FlySight is available on the Freeverse Web site.
