AMG releases Apple Loops with drummer Tony Mason

U.K. developer Advanced Media Group (AMG) on Thursday announced the fourth title in its ProCreate series of Apple Loop collections for use with GarageBand, Logic, Soundtrack and other applications compatible with the format. Titled “Smokin’,” this one features drummer Tony Mason, who has worked with Al Green, Mary-J Blige, Fine Young Cannibals and other artists. Described by AMG as “laid back, R&B grooves,” the tracks in Smokin’ feature a variety of tempos and beats; a demo file is available for download. AMG expects to ship the collection next week for 30 British pounds (US$56).
